Row Counter for Crochet & Knitting

A simple row counter in your browser: tap to count, undo, reset. The Android app keeps a counter for every project.

This web counter forgets when you close the page. The StitchTick app saves every project on your phone, with extra counters, notes and a timer, and works offline.

How it works

Tap the big button after every row (or round). Made a mistake? Take one off. Starting a new piece? Reset.
In the Android app each project keeps its own counter, as many projects as you like: rows plus extra counters that move with them, like a 6-row pattern repeat or “decrease every 4 rounds”, with a reminder when a repeat is done.
The app also keeps notes and work time per project, keeps the screen on while you count, and saves a free backup file you can restore on a new phone.

Frequently asked questions

Is there a free row counter without ads in the middle of counting?

This page has no ads at all. The StitchTick app shows one small banner at the bottom of the screen, never a full-screen ad, and never on a count.

Can I count several things at once?

In the app, yes: add counters to a project for pattern repeats or decreases, and link them so they move with every row.

Do I lose my count if I close the app?

No: the app saves every count on your phone as you tap. This web page does not save anything.
